FSU College of Medicine
This 60 million dollar addition to the Florida State University campus created FSU’s first medical school program. The auditorium was the crown jewel of the building and is host to many varried programs throughout the year. The project also included lab casework, reception lobby, solid surface counters and window sills, cherry wall paneling and trim, along with a hose of typical plastic laminate case work.
FSU Communications Building
The Florida State Univertiy’s Comminications Building is the gateway to legendary coach Bobby Bowden’s offices. This space is built inside Doak Campbell Stadium and is three stories of maple wall paneling in the entrance atrium which sets the tone of this outstanding space, including a radius reception desk, built in trophy cases and elevator lobbies throughout the building.
FSU Life Sciences Building
The Life Science Building at Florida State University is filled with lab casework and typical plastic laminate cabinets. With maple standing and running trim throughout all the common areas, glass and wood main staircase with custom wood suspended ceiling sets off the main lobby.
Georgia Public Health Laboratory
Solid maple cabinetry throughout common areas, medical casework, along with standing and running trim complete this installation.
Schenck School
Schenck School in Sand Springs Georgia is world known for its work with dislexic children. JD James, Inc. was responsible for installing the stained red oak wood truss systems in dining hall and accompanying wainscot with standing trim, casework and popular indoor trimwork in each classroom. The indoor exercise area has custom oak columns and beams and is used to hang ropes from the ceiling for climbing exercises.
